At times, moving back home definitely has it's perks. After four online orders - all of which I've returned over the last two weeks - I was giving up hope of finding something new to wear last weekend, then I spotted my sister's latest purchase...

We're not exactly the same size, but pretty close so a lot of clothes sharing goes on in my household. She'd just bought this dip-hem skirt in the sale at Topshop and it was a tad too big for her but fit me just right. After a quick check online, I was able to order her a smaller size which fits her much better, so I think this just about made up for the fact I got to wear 'her' new skirt before she did.

It turns out working full-time and blogging regularly don't fit together too well. I started my new job just under a month ago, around about the same time the lack of blog posts kicked in. The early morning routine is getting easier but I had forgotten just how tiring working five days a week can be! So I guess I'll just have to get used to blogging tired from now on...

My days off have become precious now that I work five out of seven, so I spent last Sunday with all the family, celebrating my sister's birthday. Wearing a dress wouldn't have been a wise option with eight and five year old nephews to entertain all day. That said, white shirt and white patterned trousers wasn't too sensible of a choice either, since I spent the afternoon playing football followed by painting rocks - with dangerously bright coloured paint. How I made it home stain free is beyond me!
